Governor Walker signed Assembly Bill 223/Senate Bill 149 (Rep. John Spiros (R-Marshfield)/Sen. Frank Lasee (R-De Pere)) into law as 2015 Wisconsin Act 133 on February 4, 2016. The new law changes the six-year statute of limitation to three years for actions on a motor vehicle insurance policy and for actions to recover for property damage or death arising from a motor vehicle accident.
